“Think Clean?… Think Covington!” – the 2015 Covington Cleanest City Contest theme falls right in line with Covington’s City-wide Cleanup campaign which began Saturday, March 7th. Citizens are encouraged to get their “Spring Cleaning” done early and polish their homes and yards during the week-long event — just in time for the Cleanest City judging to take place on Tuesday, March 17th.

Through the coordinated effort and sponsorship of Covington Garden Club’s Cleanest City Contest Committee, Keep Covington Beautiful, Progressive Waste, the City of Covington administration, and the Covington City Councilmen serving as honorary cleanup chairmen of their respective districts, large trash containers will be placed in the City’s five council districts March 7th thru March 15th. Location are as follows: W. 28th Avenue & Tyler (near ball field), Corner of Jesse James & Florida, 15th Avenue (between The Village & River Forest Subdivisions), 20th Avenue (across from rear of Tyler Square), Menetre Boat Launch (between E. 3rd & E. 4th Avenues at the River).
