Cleanest City Poster Contest Student Winners Exhibit on Display at Heritage Bank

Cleanest City Poster Contest The student work is from Pineview Middle School, St. Peter’s Catholic School and William Pitcher Junior High, all schools in the City of Covington. More than 300 students participated in the contest conducted by the Covington Cleanest City Committee of the Covington Garden Club. The Club is aggressively participating in the Louisiana Garden Club Federation Contest for Cleanest City. The students completed posters using the theme “Think CLEAN? … Think COVINGTON!” All students who participated received classroom instruction about anti-litter awareness and were rewarded for their efforts by recognition in front of their entire school and a pizza party supplied and served by members of the Covington Garden Club. The Cleanest City Poster Contest Student Winners Exhibit is on display at Heritage Bank, 201 N Columbia Street in downtown Covington from March 16th – 21st, 9 am to 4 pm.
