Covington Community Pulls Together for the Covington Food Bank

When the Covington Food Bank announced that they had a decline in food donations this year, the community quickly acted to help this valuable organization.

Our Place Studio in downtown Covington announces a food drive for the Covington Food Bank starting Monday, September 14 and running thru the following Saturday, September 19. Donate 3 or more food items, get a $5 coupon that can be used towards a massage service or a class. Drop off times are 8-10 am and 4:30 – 7 pm, Mon. – Sat.

Smoke BBQSmoke BBQ, which recently opened on Collins Blvd, is donating all of their proceeds from sales on Thursday September 10th from 11 am – 2:30 pm to the Covington Food Bank. They are also collecting canned and boxed goods.

Northshore Vineyard food donationsNorthshore Vineyard Church recently donated almost 4,000 pounds of food to the Covington Food Bank from a community food drive they hosted. What a great feeling seeing Covington pull together for such a helpful organization!
