The event is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire Street, in downtown Covington and features a variety of work from local and regional artists, including jewelry, photography, paintings, woodworking, fiber art and more.

The purpose of the market is to give exposure and provide a venue for artists to sell their work. Art market patrons are also encouraged to visit the Saturday Farmers Market, which takes place from 8 a.m. to noon on the grounds of nearby Covington Police Department, 600 N. Columbia Street—walking distance of the Covington Trailhead.
