Santa made an early delivery this week at two area nursing homes with a little help from District Attorney Warren Montgomery’s Office. As part of a project called “Socks for Seniors,” staff members donated 67 pairs of warm, new socks to the Good Samaritan nursing home in Franklinton and 93 pairs to the Lacombe nursing home—enough for each resident at each home to get a pair. Employees also wrote personal messages in two oversized, custom-designed cards for the residents. Santa’s helper (Investigator Tami Brisset) organized the event, wrapped each gift (with a little help from some young family members) and organized the delivery. The District Attorney’s Office wishes each of you a Merry Christmas! Visit damontgomery.org.
