Pickup of all household debris removed from flood damaged homes continues in the City of Covington. Residents may place all flood debris curbside for pickup.
Covington’s annual city-wide cleanup is underway, as the City prepares for the LGCF Cleanest City Contest judging this year to be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Through the coordinated effort and sponsorship of Covington Garden Club, Keep Covington Beautiful, Progressive Waste, the City of Covington administration, and the Covington City Councilmen serving as honorary cleanup chairmen of their respective districts, large trash containers have been placed in the City’s five council districts from March 19th -March 27th.
Citizens are encouraged to get their spring cleaning done early and polish their homes and yards during the week long event. Hazardous waste disposal such as unused paint, tires, etc. are not permitted. The City would also like to remind those residents with flood damages that collection of their debris will be curbside and requests that flood debris not be placed in these dumpsters.

Council District D – Councilman Larry Rolling/ 20th Avenue behind Tyler Square. Council District E – Councilman Rick Smith/ Menetre Boat Launch (between 3rd & East 4th Avenues at the river).
