‘Project Blessings All Year Round’ Offers Community Assistance After Flood

IMG_4920 (2)Many businesses, individuals and organizations are helping those needing assistance after the flood in Covington and surrounding areas. “Project Blessings All Year Round”, located at 705 Boston Street, is one of those organizations. This community outreach project and ministry in action started by Tiffany McGary-Cyprian and her husband Scott Cyprian is a bright light on Boston Street, acting as a distribution and donation drop off center. Thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Ashley Jordan Riley, the Cyprians were able to establish a much needed location for those seeking immediate assistance after the flooding. Project Blessings has provided food and basic necessities for those waiting for emergency management to initiate. A few of the local businesses who have donated food to feed the volunteers and community include Papa John’s Pizza, Italian Pie, Domino’s, Vazquez, Buster’s Place, Subway on Boston, Popeyes Hwy. 190, ChickFilA & Mellow Mushroom. Anyone interested in donating or volunteering may visit 705 Boston or call 985-710-5699.
