Covington Announces Park Master Plan

City of Covington Logo 2015The City of Covington hosted a public meeting on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, to give the community an initial view of the proposed Bogue Falaya Park Master Plan Project design.  Attendees were encouraged to examine the preliminary conceptual designs and speak one-on-one with the engineers, landscape architects and city officials working on the project.
“Our goal is to protect the beauty of this cherished facility and maximize its use so that residents and visitors can enjoy the park as a cultural and recreational destination for generations to come,” said Mayor Mike Cooper.
The City wants to ensure that the public has a voice in this plan as they are a huge component to the character and ideals of our community.  If you were unable to attend, visit the City of Covington website at covla.com for a digital file of the conceptual design and links to additional information regarding the Master Plan.
Feel free to send comments/questions to Kelli Moore at kmoore@covla.com.  She is collecting essential feedback for distribution to the Bogue Falaya Park Master Plan team.  Your vision is a key component to a dynamic and vibrant Bogue Falaya Park- your input is appreciated!
