15th Ave. Washout Repair Update & Coffee With Cooper

Covington Mayor Cooper releases an update on the West 15th Avenue Culvert Washout Repair:
“With all contract documents signed, a pre-construction meeting was recently held with DOTD and the selected contractor for the W. 15th Ave. Culvert Washout Repair project.  Materials have been ordered and the contractor, Barriere Construction, plans to mobilize equipment on May 1.  The contract stipulates 30 working days, excluding bad weather, to complete the project.  It is hoped that this important roadway will be opened for traffic mid to late June, if not sooner.  Further updates will be provided as this project moves yet a step closer to reality.  Thank you.”

For more updates on all the municipal projects and events happening in Covington, the city presents Coffee with Mayor Cooper at the Covington Trailhead Museum  on Wednesday, April 26th.  This is an opportunity for the public to interact with City of Covington administration in a non-formal setting.  The general public is invited to this opportunity for questions, conversation and answers.
