Run To Remember 2017 at TerraBella Village

Save The Date and Help To Honor Our Heroes!

Dynamic Physical Therapy began the Run to Remember for one reason:  Gratitude.  Gratitude to the men and women who have served our country faithfully with a simple desire to give back to them.
Dynamic Physical Therapy is hosting its annual Run to Remember 1 mile and 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, June 10, 2017.  The 1 mile starts at 7:30am and the 5K will follow at 8:00am.  The run will wind through the scenic TerraBella Village and nature preserve. TerraBella is located at 141 Terra Bella Blvd, Covington, LA.
This year we are excited to announce a Black Hawk Helicopter Static Display by the Louisiana Army National Guard from Hammond.  The Black Hawk Helicopter Static Display will take place during the Run to Remember near the town square in TerraBella Village. (The helicopter will land, allow visitors to view the helicopter, and then take off.) This will be an amazing experience for all children and adults to see.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Wounded War Heroes, a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded war heroes.  Dynamic will have a table where people are invited to write thank you notes to our active military, in addition to having a “Wall of Heroes”.  All veterans, active military, and their families are encourage to submit a picture for the wall to honor our heroes.     GetWellAtDynamic.com/Run

“Dynamic chose Wounded War Heroes because we respect their mission to empower the wounded hero,” said Steve and Michelle Sierra, owners and founders of Dynamic Physical Therapy.  “As a clinic, we have seen these heroes and the family members of our heroes come through our doors and the difficult realities of military service are evident in their lives and hearts.  They carry the burden and fight for all of us,” added Steve.  “They live in our community.  They are our siblings, cousins, friends and neighbors.  These brave individuals put their lives on the line and their service and sacrifice should be honored by all of us.”

Michelle continued:  “We chose to hold a race because it’s a community event that celebrates health, camaraderie and freedom that our heroes defend. If we can help improve the life of a wounded hero or their family either by having them come through our doors or by donating time, money or efforts, it’s the least we can do.”

The credence behind Wounded War Heroes Foundation is to show appreciation to the men and women, while in combat who sustained life-altering wounds, by providing therapeutic outdoor experiences upon returning home from USA combat missions.  Our sole purpose is to show these veterans the steadfast mission promise from Wounded War Heroes that their courageous service to our nation, are “Never Forgotten.”
