This Week in Downtown Covington

Sunset at the Landing takes place this Friday evening at the Columbia Street Landing (Columbia Street at the Bogue Falaya River). The Landing Concerts are Free and open to the public, and they are brought to you by the City of Covington, The Covington Farmer’s Market, and Heritage Bank of St. Tammany. This month, the Coffee Rani Food Truck will be out to provide nourishment.

This month’s concert features the Zac Maras Band at 6 pm followed by SpaM (Ed Peterson, Brian Seegar and Shawn Myers). Bring out the family with a picnic blanket or some chairs and pass a good time!

Friends of the Library September Book Sale

Hadden Hall, home to the Friends, holds over 30,000 fiction and non-fiction books and we have an entire room filled with children’s books! Prices start at $.25 cents! This month we are displaying an assortment of military books in conjunction with Patriots Day.
The Friends of the Library of West St. Tammany is an all volunteer, non-profit organization whose proceeds support the St. Tammany Parish Library.

Monthly book sales take place on the 3rd Saturday and the preceding Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
