In a gathering described as “thousands of activist women and their allies” by Doug MacCash of nola.com, the 2018 Women’s March in New Orleans took place on Saturday, January 20th. While criticism of the current president is to be expected, showing respect for other human beings and women in particular is not a partisan issue, it is an issue of personal integrity and self-awareness.
No one should accept or be subjected to either verbal or physical abuse from any person, male or female. Any individual that has a regular compulsion to belittle or criticize others is projecting their own neuroses, faults and weaknesses to no benefit. It is fascinating to watch the authoritarian control of patriarch-oriented rule yielding to the balance of the divine feminine.
