Sierra Club Sponsors Clean Up at Fontainebleau

Extreme state park budget cuts in recent years leave our

beloved natural parks vulnerable to closures, both

temporary and long-term. The Sierra Club is stepping in to

help! Bring your garden tools and get ready to prune, clip,

work trails, and plant at Fontainebleau State Park in St.

Tammany Parish! We will work from 10-2:00 with a break for

lunch (not provided).

Additional Directions: ** All volunteers must bring their

own PPEs i.e. safety glasses, work gloves, ear protection,

and wear proper shoes for outdoor work.

The clean up event will take place at Fontainebleau State

Park on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 10 am til 2 pm

Organized by Michele Johnson, Delta Chapter. Contact by
