Rockin’ The Rails This Thursday

Papa John Gros Band is the first performance of April 2018 Rockin’ the Rails season at the Covington Trailhead in historic downtown Covington. Other performances this April include Luther Kent and Boogie Falaya, then closing out with Uptown Phunk.

Big Deal Burlesque is New Orleans’ Original Touring Show! Produced by Roxie Le Rouge and featuring the Best of the Best in Burlesque, Drag, Sideshow, Boylesque and Variety Performances, touring the coast for 6 years.

Other Live Music in downtown happens at the Columbia Street Tap Room on the corner of Columbia Street and Lockwood. Pepe’s Mexican Kitchen, located at 321 N. Columbia Street, hosts live music as well as St. John’s Coffeehouse, on the corner of Columbia and Boston.

Rockin’ the Rails at the Covington Trailhead is a free concert series made possible by the City of Covington and generous sponsors. Festival season is here, and the April concert series takes advantage of the milder spring weather on the northshore. This Thursday, April 5, it’s John Papa Gros Band. The concerts begin at 5 p.m. And end at 7:30 p.m. The Covington Trailhead is located at 419 N. New Hampshire Street in Historic Downtown Covington.
