StoryWalk at the Northlake Nature Center with David Lee Campbell and Peg Usner, Thursday, April 26, 2018, from 5:30 til 7:30 p.m. StoryWalk is a fun, educational activity that lets you enjoy reading books or poems placed along a popular walking route in your community. StoryWalk helps build interest in reading while encouraging healthy activity for both adults and children. Originally designed to encourage children to read more, the Northlake Nature Center in collaboration with the St. Tammany Parish Library have taken this activity to a new level to introduce adults to reading outdoors while engaging in a healthy activity.
Meet author David Lee Campbell and artist Peg Usner, who present a book of art and poetry: “Nature All Around Us – Fifty Years of Life with Creatures and Native Plants in Louisiana.
