Spring for Art 2018 Postponed

Postponed due to weather – Spring for Art

It is with much regret that we advise we must postpone

Spring for Art events.

While the decision to do so was not an easy one to make,

due to weather forecasts indicating that severe

thunderstorms are likely, and after consulting with the

agencies with whom we produce events, it is evident that

the postponement is necessary.

While we recognize that this is a disappointment to the

many businesses, artists and performing artists who are

part of this event, please note that we are working with

the City of Covington – Office of Cultural Arts & Events to

establish a new date in the near future, and will keep you

advised. We are hopeful that the new date accommodates as

many schedules as possible, but in the event such is not

the case, we will work with you on an individual basis to

review alternate options.

A Taste of Covington’s Festa del Vino Premium Wine Tasting,

hosted by Mayor Mike Cooper in our Art House, will proceed

as scheduled, 3 to 5 pm.

This is a ticketed event, with tickets available here:

The Il•lus•trate art exhibition opening reception also will

proceed as planned, 6 to 9 pm in the STAA Art House (320 N

Columbia St.) This event is free and open to the public.
