Save the Date: Cynthia Kolls Exhibition

The City of Covington’s Gallery at City Hall will open the solo exhibition of Cynthia Kolls with a reception. Mayor Mike Cooper invites the public to attend on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, from 5:30pm until 7:00pm.
Cynthia Kolls is an artist that lives and paints in her Mandeville home.  She grew up in New Orleans and is inspired by the music, festivals and everyday things that she appreciates in the south.  Oyster shells, crabs and flowers are just a few of her favorite subjects to paint.

She creates bold, colorful paintings with high flow acrylics, inks, paper and resin epoxy.  When traditional canvases won’t do, she cuts out wooden silhouettes on her scroll saw to create unique foundations for her art.
Cynthia’s work can be found on Instagram…@cynkollsart and at Bevolo Gas and Electric Lights on Royal Street.
The exhibition opening reception will be held at The Gallery at City Hall located at Covington City Hall, 317 North Jefferson Avenue, Covington, Louisiana 70433.
