Introduction to Drawing with Inga Falterman Sharpen your pencils and your drawing skills in STAA’s Introduction to Drawing course taught by Inga Clough Falterman. This class will introduce students to a variety of approaches for drawing designed to enhance the creative process with a foundation that can be carried over into any other visual medium. Concentration will be placed on the formal elements of design, linear and Atmospheric perspective, measurement of relative proportion, quick sketching, and finding one’s own voice.
Drawing exercises and drills in this class will not only encourage the student to try different approaches in drawing, but will hone his or her understanding of basic concepts. Assignments incite the enthusiastic draftsman to consider alternative approaches to drawing challenges.
Classes Tuesdays in January & February, 6 – 8 p.m.
