Back to School for St. Tammany, Child Safety Seat Law Changes

The first day back to school for Fall 2019 in St. Tammany is Friday, August 9th. Be aware of all School Zones, and look for children near School Cross Walk, school areas and school bus stops. Using a phone in a “Hands Free Zone” is a ticketable offense, and it is a good practice to eliminate distracted driving by putting your phone down and concentrate on paying attention to the road.
