A fun-filled night of gaming awaits those who attend the 9thAnnual Cards4Kids Fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 7-11 p.m. at Tchefuncta Country Club in Covington.
The event supports the Grant’s Gift Foundation and its mission to provide a network of resources to help improve the lives of individuals with special needs, with a primary focus on underprivileged and disabled children, so that they can grow and prosper in order to reach their fullest potential.
Cards4Kids guests will try their luck at blackjack, roulette, and craps tables, and will also enjoy live music, dancing, delicious food and libations. Spirited bidding will be encouraged during live and silent auctions featuring wonderful products and services donated by generous area donors.

Tickets are $75 each and may be purchased at grantsgiftfoundation.org. The website also features information on sponsorships, auction item donations and monetary donations.
Grant’s Gift Foundation was founded by Michael and Angie de la Houssaye, whose son Grant has special needs. Their personal experience—which included the help of friends and family when they wanted to purchase an adaptive bicycle for Grant in 2009—provided the impetus for the foundation and the Cards4Kids event.
