Liz Bragdon (Our Place Studio) & Reina Solano (Shop Soul Boutique)

Thank you, Covington, for Generously Supporting the CovLuv Power Fundraiser for Hope House! Hope House Children’s Advocacy Center is a local, independent, non-profit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse in our community. They provide a path to recovery and a bridge to justice for victims of abuse. Currently, they are holding a fundraising drive called, “500 Women for Hope House.” The goal is to encourage 500 women to each raise $100 to help fund Hope House’s free services for abused children, which include forensic interviews and specialized therapy and counseling. Hope house also provides sexual abuse prevention training and educational workshops on child-focused topics like bullying and self-esteem to the community.

Reina Solano of Shop Soul Boutique and Liz Bragdon of Our Place Studio recently held a raffle fundraiser for Hope House as part of the 500 Women campaign. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, artists and craftspeople who donated goods and services and our amazing Covington community who purchased hundreds of raffle tickets, they were able to raise $1,442.00 for Hope House!

A huge, heartfelt thank you to all of our friends and to our community from Reina, Liz and the folks at Hope House for purchasing tickets and donating raffle items!
