What is the Duck Derby? Duck Derby is a race of “adopted” rubber ducks with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place rubber duckies going home with cash prizes! Our Duck Derby has a twist this year because the winning ducks will be retrieved by rescue dogs!
Date & Time: Tuesday, July 4, 2017 @ 5 p.m.

Location: Duck Derby race will be held just left of the new Mandeville Beach directly following the Mandeville Independence Day Parade hosted by the Mande Milkshakers! All proceeds directly benefit the homeless animals of St. Tammany Humane Society. The more Ducks you adopt; the more chances to win!

1st Place Duck, $1,000 cash; 2nd Place Duck, $500 cash; 3rd Place Duck, $250 cash. For more information, visit online at sthumane.org, or call 985-892-7387.

STHS Pet of the Week

Señor Rock is a one-year-old medium mix pup. Rock was transferred to the St. Tammany Humane Society when Bogalusa Animal Control no longer had the space for him. “Rock” is a great companion and gets along with other animals. If you are interested in Señor Rock or any of the other adoptable animals of St. Tammany Humane Society, email adoption@sthumane.org or visit sthumane.org today.
