NHS Pet of the Week: Fiona

Published by:

Despite only being three-years-old, Fiona has already led a tougher life than most!  It began almost two years ago when she was surrendered to a municipal shelter with space limitations. The shelter reached out to us for help and so Fiona was transferred to our rescue to find her second chance.

She was quickly adopted into what we thought would be her furever home. Sadly, her family returned her to the same municipal shelter when a treatable skin condition appeared. There is no way we could ever give up on her innocent face and gentle soul and so Fiona was transferred to us again!
Fiona is such a sweet girl who loves to cuddle and play with others. She does great with other dogs, cats and humans of all ages. She is currently being fostered by one of our staff who says she will be one of the most difficult to say goodbye to, but she is by far the most deserving of a home. Come meet Fiona today!
