Rosemary’s Closet is Covington’s spot to find the most unique and interesting vintage clothing and accessories. Owner Elizabeth Pfeffer Williams is a retired school principal whose family has a long history in Covington. The shop is named after Elizabeth’s mother, Rosemary Pfeffer. Whenever her mother found her “rooting” through her closet, she would always ask “What play are you in now?” Elizabeth, true to form, is a supporter of local Playmakers Theater, often providing costumes and performing in plays. Her shop contains an eclectic mix of women’s and men’s vintage apparel, as well as hats, gloves, purses, shoes and scarves, always unique items that “catch her eye”. Rosemary’s Closet is open Tuesday’s & Thursday’s from 10 am – 4 pm, or by appointment by calling (985) 264 – 5085. Elizabeth lives in Covington and will be happy to meet with you at the shop to find that perfect outfit for any event!
