STHS Unleashed Rescue Me Gala

Covington, LA – STHS will host its annual Unleashed! Rescue Me Gala presented by First Castle Federal Credit Union on Saturday, October 7th from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Pontchartrain Yacht Club.
The STHS 2016 event exceeded expectations by raising over $100,000. Proceeds funded aid to homeless animals, including the continued care for animals affected by the devastating August 2016 floods.
This October’s event promises to be better than ever! Guests will revel in a sailing-themed party with football legend and former New Orleans Saint, Rich Mauti, as returning host. Four Unplugged will perform as guests enjoy cocktails and cuisine from Pardo’s American Bistro, Tchoupstix Sushi & Grill, The Lakehouse and Maison Lafitte. Proceeds from ticket sales, sponsorships, silent and live auctions, and the popular “cork pull” for wine enthusiasts will benefit St. Tammany Humane Society.

“We are excited to once again hold this fundraiser at Pontchartrain Yacht Club on the beautiful Mandeville Lakefront! Because of fundraisers like Unleashed!, we were able to save over 1,165 animals in 2016. So far this year we’re on track for a record year. Without the support of the community it would not be possible,” explains Scott Bernier, CEO of the St. Tammany Humane Society.
Individual tickets are $125 in advance or $150 at the door. Purchase tickets or make donations at the STHS facility or call (985)892-7387 or visit online at stHUMANE.org. Sponsorships and reserved tables are available with advance purchase, contact Susie Kaznowitz at the number listed above, extension 4.

Since 1953, the St. Tammany Humane Society has been serving the unwanted, neglected, abandoned, and abused animals of the Gulf Coast Region.
