Corkern Air Conditioning, Heating and Electric was started in 1973 by Troy & Alice Corkern, natives of Covington, who have been serving St. Tammany Parish for over 40 years. Troy Corkern retired in 1997 and his son Kevin Corkern is now the man in charge. Ms. Alice is semi-retired, but still very active in the business offering the office staff her motherly advice and wisdom.
Corkern Air Conditioning is State Licensed for Mechanical & Electrical. All our technicians are EPA certified and have continuous education throughout the year. Corkern Air Conditioning is also a member of the Louisiana Heat Pump Association (LHPA), Southeast Chapter. Kevin has served as president of the LHPA and is currently treasurer of the association.
Corkern Air Conditioning strives to offer Prompt, Reliable & Friendly Service. We service all makes and brands of air conditioning systems, including water-source heat pumps and air to air heat pumps system and ductless mini-splits. We offer Spring/Fall Maintenance agreements to help make sure your system is running to its fullest potential. Corkern Air Conditioning can also provide you with a whole home generator for hurricane season or just for those moments when electricity is lost. If you’re customizing a home we also can run a heat load to make sure you’re getting the most efficient system installed.
Corkern Air Conditioning and Electric can help with any electrical needs you may have, by changing light fixtures, rewiring and upgrading your electrical panel. We also can give you piece of mind by installing lightening arrestors and surge capacitors to help protect all electronic devices.
