“New Paintings For Exotic Tastes” By Jim Graham
Imaginative Southern landscapes, painterly abstractions or enviable still lifes, what are these amazing paintings where the concrete meets the dream world? Things seem convincingly real but appear in unexpected places. Come see what you can find in these fascinating paintings by a young artist who moved here in September to teach Painting at Southeastern.
Henry Hood Gallery hosts an opening reception this Saturday, April 12 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., in coordination with Spring for Art. Normal gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. “New Paintings for Exotic Tastes” will run through May 10th at Henry Hood Gallery in downtown Covington, 325 E. Lockwood Street.
