The City of Covington and the Covington Business Association host another block party this Friday, May 28, 2021. Stroll down Columbia Street and see the cars on display, stop in your favorite spot for food and drinks. Here is a bit of the live music that will be happening for Block Party:
Jon-Marc Kilpatrick and Josh Foreman perform at Columbia Street Rock and Blues from 6 to 9 p.m.

Retro Music Company (424 N. Columbia) presents the Pontchartrain Shakers during Block Party. Featuring vinyl records, comics and video games, visit Retro Music Company in Downtown Covington!

The Northshore Traditional Music Society invites any and all interested musicians to participate in an acoustic jam on Friday, May 28, from 6:00-8:00 in conjunction with the Columbia Street Block Party in downtown Covington, LA. We will be located under the white Gazebo at the south end of Columbia St. near the Masonic Lodge and Old Landing park. The jam will be hosted by the Farmer’s Market String Band.
Some chairs will be provided by NTMS. However, to be certain you have a place to sit, it is recommended that you bring a chair of your own.

A limited number of Northshore Traditional Music Society hats and t-shirts will be available to purchase for $20. All proceeds from these sales are used to fund local music events.
