7th Annual Quack A Falaya Saturday

Covington Rotary Club presents the 7th Annual Quack-A-Falaya this Saturday, June 26, 2021. The Rubber Duck Race Fundraiser benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Covington, Keep Covington Beautiful, Miracle League Northshore, NAMI, Pontchartrain Conservancy, Safe Harbor, Save Haven and the Covington Rotary Foundation.

The race begins 8 a.m. at the Bogue Falaya Park, ducks are $20 apiece. The fastest 10 ducks win a prize; Grand Prize is $1000 (need not be present to win). The Covington Rotary Club is a service organization that joins the efforts of over 1.2 million men and women worldwide in addressing the needs of local communities. Exchange Club Hosts 10th Annual Fundraising Event
August 22, 2020 from 4pm to 7pm

From the Exchange Club of West St. Tammany – Over the past 9 years the Exchange Club of West St. Tammany has given over $400,000 back to our Community with your help! This year the game is a little different. When the whole Community is impacted those less fortunate get impacted even more, especially the Youth! Exchange Club’s Ultimate Tailgate Party is a fundraiser designed to fund programs that assist these Youth, so this year we need your help more than ever, they need your help!

Tailgate BBQ, Advocates, and Sports fans alike, please join the Exchange Club to raise money for the Children and Families of Our Northshore with this year’s To-Geaux BBQ Meal Drive-Thru Fundraiser. Your choice of a Rib, Pulled Pork, or Chicken BBQ meal with two sides or you can even feed the Family with a deal including all three meats and sides!

The event has a focus on a large online auction ranging from small gift baskets to high value trips and event tickets, the contributions will go to our two annual beneficiaries, CAC Hope House and the YSB’s CASA Program along with UTP X beneficiary, the Miracle League NORTHSHORE.

To show our appreciation to our sponsors, the Exchange Club will hold a Post-Event Beneficiary Celebration to distribute funds to beneficiaries for their various projects that greatly impact the Children of the Northshore. We look forward to a successful 10th Annual Ultimate Tailgate Party!

Get Your Rotary Club Quack A Falaya Duck

rotary duckThe Covington Rotary Club is raising funds to promote healthy families and recreation in Covington and throughout the Northshore, and the Quack-A-Falaya is a Rubber Duck Race and Paddlers Parade on the Bogue Falaya River in Covington on Saturday, May 14, 2016. The ducks will race from the Tammany Trace to The Chimes Restaurant, with a party at The Chimes after the race. Watch the ducks come in and learn about the organizations supported all along the boardwalk at The Chimes.  Dress like a duck and get free drinks!
It’s $20 to sponsor a duck (buy a raffle ticket). 1500 ducks will race; all ducks are numbered (the duck is your raffle ticket); first duck to the FINISH LINE will win $1500. Guaranteed 1 in 100 chances to win a prize. All prizes have a value ranging from $25 to $1500 including Saints tickets, hotel stays, etc. all donated by Covington Rotary Club members and local businesses.
