The Covington Rotary Club is raising funds to promote healthy families and recreation in Covington and throughout the Northshore, and the Quack-A-Falaya is a Rubber Duck Race and Paddlers Parade on the Bogue Falaya River in Covington on Saturday, May 14, 2016. The ducks will race from the Tammany Trace to The Chimes Restaurant, with a party at The Chimes after the race. Watch the ducks come in and learn about the organizations supported all along the boardwalk at The Chimes. Dress like a duck and get free drinks!
It’s $20 to sponsor a duck (buy a raffle ticket). 1500 ducks will race; all ducks are numbered (the duck is your raffle ticket); first duck to the FINISH LINE will win $1500. Guaranteed 1 in 100 chances to win a prize. All prizes have a value ranging from $25 to $1500 including Saints tickets, hotel stays, etc. all donated by Covington Rotary Club members and local businesses.
