Mayor Mike Cooper cordially invites the citizens of Covington to Coffee with Mayor Cooper. “This gathering gives our residents the opportunity to ask questions, state concerns or provide feedback in an informal setting where they can feel comfortable to do so,” says Mayor Mike Cooper. Immediately following the event, the City of Covington will unveil its new quilt block.
The City of Covington quilt block was designed by Kim Zabbia, Chair of the Louisiana Northshore Quilt Trail Association. Its unique pattern was inspired by popular sites in the City, including the Covington Trailhead and the Columbia Street Landing. The quilt was sponsored by Benson Technologies.
