Three Rivers Art Festival returns to downtown Covington this weekend, Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A juried show of original works, Three Rivers features 200 artists from more than 20 states. The 2014 Jurors are Jessica Danby, John Hodge and Maggie McConnell. Art and fine craft demonstrations, music, food and plenty of kids activities. The mission of The Covington Three Rivers Art Festival is to expand and enhance St. Tammany’s reputation as an arts-oriented community and Mecca for artists and art lovers; to serve as an attraction for cultural tourists to St. Tammany; and, to support art education for St. Tammany Parish school children through an annual grant program.
