Trickin’ & Treatin’ at the Covington Trailhead, Oct 31, 2015
The City of Covington will host its sixth annual TRICKIN’ & TREATIN’ children’s event at the Covington Trailhead, 419 N. New Hampshire Street, on Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., noon. Children of all ages will enjoy this free, fun-filled event. Audubon Nature Institute’s Wetland Express mobile educational program will be present and will offer an up-close experience with our wetland’s most important inhabitants. Children will also enjoy face painting by LA Party Art, some games, and will have the opportunity to decorate a miniature pumpkin.
“Our past Trickin’ and Treatin’ events have been a blast. In keeping with the spirit of Halloween, attendees are encouraged to wear costumes to this event. It’s so much fun to see the children’s creativity in the costumes they wear,” says Aimee Faucheux, City of Covington Cultural Arts & Events Director.
