The unprecedented flooding experienced this weekend in Covington and the surrounding areas put a strain on local officials and first responders, and they rescued thousands across the area from home flooding and stalled vehicles. A thank you to Covington Police Department, Covington Fire Department, Acadian Ambulance and any other first responders for their efforts in assisting those in need.
