West 8th Avenue will be temporarily closed between S. Harrison Avenue and S. Monroe Street beginning Monday, April 22nd through Friday, April 26th as a result of needed utility work related to the new addition of St. Tammany Parish Hospital. A detour route will be in place to minimize any inconvenience, and the roadway will be reopened to normal traffic as quickly as possible.
