CPD Investigates Shooting, Victim Stable
The Covington Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night around 11:30 p.m. Resulting in a 24-year-old male shot near the intersection of N. Filmore Street and Schultz Alley. The victim is in stable condition.
With the help of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab, CPD was able to process and collect evidence located on the scene.

CPD Receives “Best of Badge” at Red Beans Cook Off
The Covington Police Department participated in the 10th Annual West St. Tammany Red Bean N Rice Cook Off by United Way. They competed against Mandeville Police Department and Covington Fire Department.
