Playmakers Theater, 19106 Playmakers Rd. (off Lee Rd.), Covington, announces the opening night of the comedic farce “Blithe Spirit” by Noel Coward and directed by Melanie Hayno & Frank Levy. The play opens Friday, Nov. 6th with free champagne & treats and runs through Nov. 22. Skeptical novelists Charles Condomine invites self-proclaimed medium Madame Arcati to his home for a séance,hoping to gather material for a new book. When the hapless psychic accidentally summons the spirit of Condomine’s late wife, Elvira, his home and life are quickly turned into a shambles as his wife’s ghost torments both himself and his new bride, Ruth. The show runs Nov. 6-22 (except the 8th) on Fri. & Sat. at 8 P.M. and Sun. at 2 P.M. The bar and lobby open one hour prior to curtain. Adult tickets are $20 and students tickets are $10.
