Benefit for Mackenzie Riley at Our Place Studio Through Friday

There are 2 ways you can purchase raffle tickets:  come to Our Place Studio in Downtown Covington or donate directly via Mackenzie’s GoFundMe, then text Liz Bragdon at 985.778.3448 with your full name and your donation amount and she’ll fill out/enter your tickets in the raffle for you.  If you do the GoFundMe route, you MUST text in order to have your tickets entered!!! If you win and you are out of state, remember many of these prizes are local services…Raffle duration: 10 days. Raffle tickets = $3 per ticket OR donate $10 or more and you get the same number of tickets as your donation amount (for ex. $10 = 10 tickets, etc.)! Christmas in the Country Continues This Saturday

Join the CBA, City of Covington and merchants and shops throughout downtown Covington for “Christmas in the Country”, every Saturday after Thanksgiving through Christmas, for shopping, food and fun! Look for special shopping events, live musicians, carolers, refreshments and door prizes. Shops are beautifully decorated and aglow with the warmth of the holidays.

Holiday shoppers can enjoy an old world shopping experience in a romantic holiday setting, while discovering everything from couture fashions to original fine art, home furnishings, and antique treasures in dozens of boutiques and galleries. Shoppers will also find weekly specials and entertainment, especially within the tax-free shopping area of the Covington Cultural District, all sponsored by the Covington Business Association, Lee Lane Merchants, and Covington Downtown Economic Development.

Most shops are open 9am – 5pm Mon. – Sat., some open on Sundays.  Shoppers will enjoy taking a break at luxurious spas and salons, getting an on-the-go fresh lunch, or staying for an evening of fine dining and entertainment at the city’s award-winning restaurants and nightclubs.

A Taste Of Covington Four Day Food & Wine Event Celebrates Local This Weekend

Save The Date A Taste Of Covington, 2014A Taste Of Covington is finally here! ATOC 2014 continues the tradition of the CBA’s four day food and wine event celebrating Covington.

Thursday, April 10th, 7 pm: Vintners Dinners  Be seduced with a 4-course dinner with wines paired specifically for each course. Participating restaurants are: Annadele’s Plantation, Dakota, The English Tea Room, Del Porto, Lola, Mac’s on Boston, and Pardos American Bistro. Gallagher’s Grill and Seiler Bar are sold out for this event.

Friday April 11th: A Grand Tasting at Aquistapace’s Covington Supermarket  sponsored by The French Mix.  This event is sold out!

Saturday April 12th, 2 – 4 pm: Festa del Vino  at the Historic Mackie House, presented by the Southern Hotel. !

Saturday April 12th, 6 – 9 pm: STAA’s Spring for Art  This year, the CBA has teamed up with the STAA for their annual Spring for Art! Stroll the streets of Historic Downtown Covington and enjoy the art, local businesses, music and wine. This is a free and open to the public event.

Sunday April 13th: Champagne Jazz Brunch  Hosted by Seiler Bar, there will be two seating for the brunch, featuring jazz, champagne, food and fun! Music by Steppin’ Up.
