Covington Closer to New Chief of Police

CovPD logoThe City of Covington now has 14 candidates to choose from for its new Chief.  16 applicants initially responded, but two did not take the Civil Service Exam required.  All 14 applicants that took the test passed.  Now the applicants will undergo interviews with Mayor Cooper, and the city hopes to have a new Chief of Police by October 2013.
