The Columbia Street Tap Room launched “Football for Charity” this football season. Each week, the Tap Room selects a local non-profit organization as a beneficiary. On game day, for one hour before the game to one hour after the game, Columbia Street Tap Room donates 15 percent of profits to that week’s selected charitable group. The November 24th game will benefit the Covington Firefighters Association, and the November 30th game will benefit Imerman Angels.
Keep Covington Beautiful will be the beneficiary of the Football for Charity event on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the Columbia Street Tap Room during the New Orleans Saints noon game against the Carolina Panthers. KCB will receive a 15% donation of all proceeds from the Tap Room. Proceeds will support Keep Covington Beautiful’s Blue Swamp Creek Nature Trail, located at the Covington Recreation Complex.
KCB will host an “Ice Chest Raffle” featuring 5 ice chests containing specialty prizes. Ticket cost is $10 or $40 for 5 tickets. Ticket sales will begin at 11:00 a.m. The winning ticket numbers will be pulled at half-time. Winner must be present to win.
Everyone is invited to Tailgate with KCB from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop by any time during the game to support Keep Covington Beautiful while enjoying the Tap Room’s delicious food and drink.
