Liz Bragdon of Our Place Studio and Reina Solano of Shop Soul Boutique have joined forces to take part in the “500 Women for Hope House” campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise $100 (or more) from 500 women to benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center – Hope House. The independent, non-profit organization is dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse in our community.
Liz and Reina are collecting items from local craftspeople, artists and businesses in the community that they will raffle off to raise their funds. “We are the organizers, but our creative and generous Covington community is providing the fuel and fire. So for us this is truly a community-driven “CovLuv” campaign!” says Liz.
Raffle tickets may be bought at Our Place Studio (338 N Vermont) and Shop Soul Boutique (529 E Boston) starting this Friday. Tickets will also be available at the Kombucha Girl table at the Covington Farmer’s Market Saturday. If you would like to donate an item for the raffle, call Liz at Our Place – 985.875.1182 or Reina at Shop Soul – 985.258.4080. For more info visit www.cachopehouse.org
