Learn a gentle stretch series for releasing tension and increasing healthy, stable flexibility, standing poses for grounding, strengthening and balance. A simple Sun Salutation yields the joy and challenge of moving gracefully in flow, along with breathing, mindfulness and relatxation practices to support focus, clarity, stress-relief, self-awareness and self-esteem.
Our Place Studio hosts Yoga & Mindfulness 101, A Workshop For Teen Girls on Sunday, August 2, 2015, from 1 p.m. To 4 p.m. The class is beginner friendly and for teen girls ages 13 – 17. Equipment, water and light snacks will be provided. Video of all postures/techniques covered will be provided to all students, post-workshop, so that they can continue to practice at home. The cost of the workshop is $65, due upon registration. Registration closes Friday, July 31, 2015.
